Job Description
About the Role
This is a client-facing accounting role focused on financial oversight and tax coordination — not tax return preparation.
You’ll work directly with members (clients) to ensure their financials are accurate, organized, and ready for tax filing, while serving as the primary liaison with external CPA firms.
If you enjoy reviewing financials, catching issues, improving processes, and owning the flow of information into tax season — this is a strong fit.

Client Accounting Oversight
- Review member financial statements for accuracy, completeness, and consistency
- Identify errors, gaps, and opportunities for improvement
- Provide guidance on accounting best practices and financial organization
- Serve as a primary point of contact for accounting-related questions
- Support onboarding into accounting systems and workflows
- Maintain clear documentation of reviews and recommendations
Tax Coordination (No Return Prep)
- Gather and organize financial data for tax preparation
- Prepare workpapers and supporting schedules for CPA firms
- Ensure all documentation is complete, accurate, and audit-ready
- Act as the main liaison between members and external CPAs
- Track deadlines, manage deliverables, and follow up on outstanding items
- Resolve discrepancies and missing information proactively
Process & Team Collaboration
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistency across members
- Improve workflows related to financial review and tax coordination
- Help standardize processes as the organization grows
- Stay current on accounting standards impacting clients
