The Accounting Support – Receivables is responsible for preparing, issuing, and managing invoices to ensure accurate and timely billing. This role plays a key part in maintaining cash flow by ensuring all transactions are properly recorded and followed up.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and issue customer invoices based on contracts, purchase orders, or service records
• Verify invoice details including pricing, quantities, taxes, and client information
• Ensure invoices are sent in a timely manner according to billing cycles
• Maintain accurate records of all invoicing transactions
• Respond to customer inquiries regarding billing issues or discrepancies
• Work closely with internal departments (sales, operations, accounting) to resolve invoice-related issues
• Monitor outstanding invoices and assist with follow-ups on overdue accounts
• Process credit notes, adjustments, and corrections when required
• Support month-end closing activities related to accounts receivable

Qualifications

Qualifications & Skills

• Diploma or certificate in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred)
• 1–3 years of experience in invoicing, billing, or accounts receivable
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good organizational and time management skills
• Effective communication and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to handle high volumes of transactions

Technical Skills

• Experience with ERP or accounting systems such as Microsoft Dynamics 365, SAP, or QuickBooks
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office
• Familiarity with electronic invoicing platforms is an asset
