Accounting Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Supervisor to join an established organization and take an active role in overseeing its accounting operations. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a hands-on role with variety, responsibility, and visibility.

You’ll work across daily banking, accounts payable, general ledger, financial reporting, reconciliations, while helping ensure the department operates efficiently and accurately.

What You’ll Do

Daily Accounting & Banking

• Review online bank accounts for credits, debits, deposits, and funding wires.
• Process wire transfers and post EFT payments to appropriate accounts.
• Review and process accounts payable invoices and payments.
• Maintain the operating account and review cash receipts for accurate GL coding.
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the accounting department.

Monthly Accounting & Reporting

• Manage general ledger activities and prepare journal entries.
• Calculate commissions.
• Prepare financial reports and balance sheets.
• Support year-end activities and work closely with outside accountants.

Additional Responsibilities

• Assist with bank deposits.
• Prepare invoices and process checks as needed.
• Manage credit card processing and reconciliations.
• Research and resolve bank statement issues.
• Approve departmental time-off requests and timesheets.
• Reconcile annual building rent increases and adjustments.
