Summary

The candidate will be responsible for the financial accounts for our distribution entity Liberty Medical Services (LMS) & Global transfer price management and control. The role is varied and involves interacting with our logistics, tax and accounting teams on a daily basis.

Responsibilities

  • Manage & Co ordinate the global transfer price, in accordance with OECD guidelines.. Work closely with Global Tax to coordinate pricing targets. Control ongoing margin targets in each jurisdiction are achieved.
  • Collaborate and partner with external warehouse and demand planners to control Inventory & manage obsolescence in multiple sites. Coordinate assignment of risk to responsible parties. Manage business through establishment of key metrics.
  • Coordinate monthly and annual closing activities Prepare and maintain GL monthly journal entries and accruals with sufficient support documentations providing a clear audit trail.
  • Control Global price variances on a monthly basis, investigate and correct misalignments
  • Manage associate and work with team covering Accounts Payable, Expense management and Payroll.
  • Ensure all balance sheet accounts are reconciled and analysed on a monthly basis and presented to senior management.
  • Ensure all statutory reports and payments - VAT, Corporation Tax, Payroll - are submitted correctly and on time.
  • Assist with the preparation of AOP. Record ongoing performance to plan on a monthly basis with variance explanations.
  • Control Cash flow movements, prepare forecast and manage FX exposures in conjunction with corporate treasury.
  • Liaise with Auditors and prepare the year end audit files.
  • Miscellaneous reporting filings (e.g. statistical reporting).
  • Evaluate current processes and internal controls; make and implement recommendations for improvement.
  • Support with Continuous Process Improvement Projects.
  • Build a positive, results orientated work environment, building partnerships and modeling teamwork, communicating to the team in an open, balanced and objective manner.
  • Other duties as required.

  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of calls, complaints, and resolutions.
  • Maintain confidentiality and data security in all customer interactions.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Communicate effectively via email, phone, and virtual platforms.
  • Collaborate across departments to support organizational goals.
  • Maintain and analyze data using tools like Excel, SAP, or HRIS systems.
  • Prepare reports and dashboards for internal stakeholders.
  • Ensure data accuracy and confidentiality in compliance with company and legal standards.
  • Manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Maintain secure handling of sensitive information.
  • Support audits and regulatory reporting as needed.

Education & Work Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree with 8-12 years of related experience

Education & Work Preferences

  • Professional Accounting Qualification (CIMA/ACCA/ACA or equivalent accreditation).
  • Master's Degree in Business Studies, Business Administration, Accounting or related discipline preferred
  • 4 years post qualification experience, preferably but not exclusively in a distribution or shared service environment.
  • Proven ability to collaborate and work effectively with others in a dynamic team that includes interactions with multiple stakeholder groups.
  • Proven ability to contributing to a high performing team culture
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Business acumen; ability to think from an overall "best for the business" perspective.
  • Strong analytical, planning, organization and time management skills to effectively execute key responsibilities and manage multiple priorities.
  • Effective decision making skills; ability to negotiate and balance decisions and priorities
  • Excellent MS Word and Excel.
  • SAP experience would be desirable.
