Key Responsibilities:

1. Oversee and review daily, weekly, and monthly transaction journals to ensure accuracy and compliance.
2. Develop manual journal entries as needed to support financial reporting and reconciliation processes.
3. Prepare comprehensive financial statements, from initial recording to final financial listings, ensuring everything is in line with accounting standards.
4. Maintain effective communication and collaboration with both your team and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless financial operations.
5. Assist in preparing data for both internal and external reporting, ensuring all stakeholders have the information they need.
6. Lead training sessions and development initiatives for team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
7. Ensure that all transactions and financial reports adhere to company policies, regulatory requirements, and internal controls.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proven ability to manage and develop a team.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
• Familiarity with accounting software and tools.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
