Position Summary
The Accounting Specialist supports the financial operations of Urology Clinics of North Texas by maintaining accurate accounting records, processing financial transactions, assisting with reconciliations, and supporting accounting reporting functions.
This role ensures the accuracy of financial documentation and supports internal financial controls for a multi-location healthcare organization.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Accounting Transactions
- Process accounts payable invoices and vendor payments
- Maintain financial transaction records and documentation
- Record financial transactions in Sage Intacct
- Maintain vendor payment records and financial files
Financial Reconciliation
- Assist with monthly bank and credit card reconciliations
- Review financial transactions for accuracy
- Assist with month-end accounting processes
Financial Reporting Support
- Assist with preparation of financial reports and spreadsheets
- Maintain organized accounting documentation
- Support accounting leadership with financial data review
Administrative Support
- Coordinate with departments regarding invoice processing
- Assist with documentation requests related to audits or internal reviews
- Support additional accounting projects as assigned

Work Environment
This position operates in a professional office environment supporting the financial operations of a healthcare organization with multiple clinic locations.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, or equivalent experience
- 2+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience
- Experience using accounting software such as Sage Intacct
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational and time-management skills

- Healthcare or physician practice accounting experience
- Experience supporting accounting operations in multi-location organizations
