We are seeking an Accounting Specialist with a strong technical accounting background, analytical mindset, and the ability to manage complex accounting matters in a multinational environment.

This role will play a key part in supporting the financial close process, ensuring the quality of financial information, maintaining internal controls, supporting audits, performing variance analyses, preparing technical documentation, and driving continuous improvement of accounting processes.

We are looking for a versatile professional with experience across different areas of accounting, strong communication skills to interact with local and global stakeholders, and the ability to contribute to discussions involving BR GAAP, US GAAP, and IFRS.

Your Impact

• Perform and review accounting activities, ensuring accuracy, completeness, traceability, and compliance of financial information and account balances.
• Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, including preparation/review of journal entries, account reconciliations, and analysis of significant balance sheet and P&L variances.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and controls, supporting the application of US GAAP, IFRS, BR GAAP, SOX requirements, and corporate accounting policies.
• Partner with cross-functional and global stakeholders, including FP&A, Tax, Treasury, HR, Audit, and business teams, to assess accounting impacts, manage risks, and support financial reporting.
• Drive process improvements and standardization initiatives, enhancing efficiency, automation, governance, internal controls, and the overall quality of accounting and reporting processes.
  
  

Your Experience and Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of BR GAAP, US GAAP, and IFRS, with the ability to interpret accounting policies and support technical accounting discussions.
• 5+ years of accounting experience in financial close, account reconciliations, balance sheet analysis, financial reporting, and internal controls.
• Experience in a multinational environment, including exposure to SOX compliance, audits, corporate policies, and global reporting requirements.
• Advanced English proficiency, with the ability to communicate effectively with global stakeholders and participate in technical accounting discussions.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting with strong Excel skills; experience with ERP systems and reporting/consolidation tools (e.g., SAP, JDE, OneStream, HFM/Hyperion) is highly preferred.
