Develops, implements and/or maintains one or more accounting systems: Journal entries, General Ledger, Revenue Reconciliation, etc. Reviews and interprets financial reporting requirements, rules and regulations. Balances books and prepares profit and loss, cash flow, income and balance sheet statements. Monitors and develops monthly reports of revenues and expenditures for projects. Provides record of assets, liabilities and other financial transactions. May prepare federal, state and local reports and tax returns. May assist in the setup of processes and procedures that properly capture, track and report revenue, including deferred revenue, in accordance with the company revenue recognition policy. May generate revenue reports for internal and/or external use. May interpret reports and records for managers/stakeholders. May be involved in reviewing, tracking and maintaining billing information in the financial systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance with US GAAP and other accounting regulations.

  We are seeking an experienced Accountant to handle complex reconciliations, month-end support, and compliance activities. This role supports financial reporting and contributes to continuous process improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Reconciliation

• Prepare and review account reconciliations, including AP, AR, advances, intercompany accounts, and selected general ledger accounts
• Perform full bank reconciliationsand follow up on outstanding items with banks and treasury teams
• Process and review more complex accounting transactions such as adjustments and credit/debit memos

Month-End & Reporting Support

• Compile month-end schedulesand draft notes for preliminary variance explanations
• Assist in ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial records prior to filing

Review, Compliance & Process Improvement

• Review Staff I work for accuracy and completeness before submission
• Perform compliance checks on documentation and help implement corrective actions
• Identify recurring issues and recommend process improvementsto reduce cycle times and delays

Collaboration & Representation

• Represent the section in routine meetings when senior staff are unavailable
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams as needed to resolve accounting issues

Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field

Experience

• 4–6 yearsof experience in general accounting or sub-ledger roles
• (AP, AR, Bank Reconciliations)
• Experience in a manufacturing environmentis preferred Certifications
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA)is a strong advantage

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong experience in account reconciliations(AP, AR, advances, intercompany, banks)
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel(pivot tables, reconciliation templates)
• Working knowledge of tax fundamentals(withholding tax, VAT, EWT)
• Understanding of documentation and compliance requirements
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems
