Responsibilities: This person will oversee the retail accounting field accountants and local field accountants in all aspects of their job. You will also be responsible for supporting the Retail Controller in the day-to-day operations of the retail accounting department. All duties should be performed in accordance with company policy.
What You’ll Do
• Supervise/train the field accountants in their daily responsibilities
• Provide guidance and input in developing and testing the retail point of sale system
• Provide review and support to retail budgeting process
• Assist with ongoing development of retail point of sale system.
• Provide compilation reports for locals utilizing services
• Provide assistance in payment of equity, patronage, 1099’s for locals
• Oversee Merchant Help Desk support team
• Provide training as needed to employees pertaining to point of sales system
• Oversee training content provide to locations through EAS

Qualifications- B.S. degree in Accounting or equivalent experience with a minimum of 5-7 years of accounting-related experience
- Knowledge of grain accounting and regulations
- Knowledge of cooperative accounting
- Knowledge of the agriculture industry
