Position Summary:

This position is responsible for auditing gaming revenues, statistics and related paperwork. In addition, they will research, correct, record and report discrepancies in documentation to ensure accurate reporting.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities: includes but not limited to:

• Performs daily audits of gaming related source documents and reports
• Reconciles paperwork to system generated reports
• Compiles gaming tax withholdings and prepares required IRS payments requests
• Assists in preparation of daily journal entries through completing accurate and timely audits
• Assists patrons with tax related inquiries

Secondary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Reports variances to gaming departments and assists with researching the variances
• Adheres to related internal control regulations and procedures
• Reports violations of regulatory requirements found during the audit process

Minimum Education and Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Previous cashiering or bookkeeping experience

Competencies: Incumbent will master the following competencies while in this position:

• Basic knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
• Knowledge of internal operating procedures and controls

Training Requirements:

• Knowledge of, ACSC and Cognos/Power BI
• Basic understanding of Standards of Operations and Management and Minimum Internal Control Standards
• 10-key pad experience

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

• Office work environment
• Must be able to sit in front of a computer screen for extended periods of time
• Must be able to work various shifts and flexible hours
• Must be able to walk the gaming floor to pick up paperwork timely
