Who you are

You are a strategic and detail-oriented finance professional with strong leadership capabilities and a deep understanding of accounting operations within a Supply Chain environment. As part of the Ingka India Finance CFO Team, you collaborate closely with the Accounting & Reporting Manager to oversee and optimize accounting processes for the Supply Chain business of Ingka India Retail.

You bring the ability to lead the Supply Chain Accounting & Reporting function with accountability and integrity, ensuring accurate reporting, strong financial control, and value protection of Ingka’s assets. You are driven to support business growth while contributing positively to people and the planet through effective and efficient financial governance.

Your responsibilities

Lead & Develop the Team: Build, coach, and develop a high-performing accounting team by ensuring the right competencies, driving performance excellence, and planning for succession.

Act as a Business Partner: Collaborate closely with key stakeholders to support a seamless shopping experience, serving as a trusted advisor on accounting and financial matters.

Drive Process Excellence: Implement, standardize, and continuously improve accounting and reporting processes to enhance accuracy, efficiency, productivity, and compliance with local GAAP and Ingka reporting standards.

Ensure Financial Stewardship: Oversee day-to-day financial operations, providing guidance and clarity on accounting and reporting queries while safeguarding financial integrity.

Align Goals with Business Strategy: Translate the business plan into clear team objectives, actionable plans, and measurable outcomes to support overall business growth.

Manage Audits & Compliance: Coordinate internal and external audits, proactively address findings, and ensure strong governance and regulatory compliance.

Contribute to Strategic Projects: Actively participate in local and global initiatives, offering insights and expertise from an accounting and reporting perspective.

Strengthen Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with core business areas, process teams, and business owners across Ingka Group to drive a holistic, integrated approach to growth.

Champion Safety & Compliance: Promote and maintain a safe and compliant working environment in line with Ingka’s policies for co-workers, contractors, and consultants.

Apply Strong Financial & Business Expertise: Leverage in-depth knowledge of IKEA’s culture and values, Ind AS, India GAAP, IFRS, risk management, regulatory compliance, data analytics, and emerging technologies to deliver business value.

Lead Through Influence & Values: Build strong relationships, foster collaboration, inspire clarity, encourage entrepreneurship, and lead in alignment with IKEA values.

Drive Business Impact: Translate business needs into financial insights, identify growth opportunities, manage change effectively, and continuously develop and empower your team.
