RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conducting monthly, quarterly and yearly closing activities for our entities under IFRS and local GAAP within required deadlines.
  • Preparation of various deliverables to support both internal and external financial reporting needs, including analytic commentary and the preparation of supplementary financial analysis for management and other stakeholders.
  • Preparation of any compliance, tax and regulatory reporting.
  • Involvement in the annual audit process and preparation of the annual financial statements.
  • Working with various cross-functional stakeholders to maintain efficient and compliant accounting and reporting processes, and effective controls.
  • Actively contributing to improvement initiatives, standardization, re-engineering of processes and controls, and implementation of best practices.
  • Assist the business to achieve commercial objectives, including the ability to act as an adviser on matters.


YOUR PROFILE

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, or economics.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting and financial reporting.
  • Some experience or exposure to IFRS or US GAAP in the preparation of financial statements.
  • Good knowledge of Excel.
  • Detail-oriented yet able to reflect on and understand the big picture.
  • Ability to work independently, taking initiative and delivering results with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet a range of deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • A proactive and self-driven mindset, with a strong sense of ownership and initiative.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • SAP S4 Hana knowledge will be considered an asset.
  • Eagerness to learn and grow, with the ability to identify issues and opportunities within data and processes.
