ABOUT THIS POSITION
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manager, Accounting & Reporting to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial reporting, SEC reporting, technical accounting, and financial analysis. This role is critical to ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial reporting in compliance with SEC regulations. This role will have the ability to maintain and improve our financial reporting processes as a newly public company.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
SEC Reporting:Assistin the preparationand filing ofquarterly and annual reports (Forms 10-Q and 10-K) and other SEC filings (Forms 8-K, S-1, S-3,Proxy statements,etc.) in compliance with SEC regulations.
Financial Statements:Work closely with the Director,Accounting andSVP,Corporate Controllerin the preparation oftheconsolidatedfinancial statements and footnotesin accordance withUS GAAP.
Technical Accounting:Research and analyze complex accounting issues and provide guidance on the i nterpretationofrelevantaccounting standards(ASC 606, ASC 718, ASC 350, etc.)Ability to concisely summarize complex issuesin the form of technical accounting memosfornumerousstakeholders’review, as well as help operationalizeplansto record new complex transactionsor newly adopted accounting standards.
Collaboration:Work closely with cross-functional teams, including finance, legal, investor relations, and external auditors, to ensure accurateandtimelyfinancial reporting.
Continuous Improvement:Identifyand implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of the financial reporting process.
Ad Hoc Analysis:Perform ad hoc financial analysis and reporting as needed , specifically thepotentialaccounting impact ofcomplextransactions
WHAT YOU'LL NEED

Education:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, ora relatedfield. CPA certification isrequired
Experience:5+years of experience in public accounting (Big 4 preferred) or a mix of public accounting and corporate SEC reporting.Direct experiencewith SEC filings and XBRL tagging preferred.
Technical Skills:Strong knowledge of US GAAP, SEC regulations, and disclosure requirementsProficiencyin financial reporting software(i.eWorkiva)and advanced Excel skills.
Analytical Skills:Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keenattention to detail.
Communication Skills:Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with all levels of the organization.
Team Player:Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
