Ford U.S. Payroll is seeking a detail-oriented payroll accounts reconciliation analyst to work at the Payroll Service Center based in Ford Mexico. Clear communication, analytical skills, and maintaining the privacy of sensitive financial and personal information are critical requirements.
Working within the Service Center environment, the Accounting & Reconciliation Analyst will coordinate the accounts reconciliation work for U.S. Payroll.
The primary role of the payroll accounts reconciliation coordinator is to ensure accurate, complete, and timely reconciliation of payroll cost General Ledger accounts, accrual balances, and related bank account records. This role ensures also full compliance with the company policies regarding the accounts reconciliation process.
Reconciliation & Accounting: Coordinate the reconciliation of payroll accounts (e.g., bank accounts, tax accounts, benefit accounts, intercompany/dept cost accounts). Prepare payroll general ledger (GL) reports, payroll payable requests, and journal entries.
Reporting & Communication: Collaborate with work partners in the resolution of pending reconciling items. Prepare summary and accounts reconciliation reports
Education: High school diploma or bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
Experience: Previous experience in payroll processing, accounting, or reconciliation.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in payroll software, accounting general ledger system (SAP S/4 Hana), human resources information systems (HCM/Payroll Oracle cloud), and Excel.
Core Competencies: Strong attention to detail, mathematical proficiency, and knowledge of accounting principles
Communication: clear communication to explain payroll transactions or accounting issues to other skill teams (people not familiar with accounting principles)
English language excellent communication skills in English (both oral and written)
Analytical: good analytical skills with strong attention to details
Time management: ability to thrive in a deadline-driven environment
Confidentiality: ability to handle sensitive financial and personal employee information
