Are you highly organized, detail-oriented, and experienced in purchasing and logistics coordination? We are looking for a Purchasing Administrator to join our team and support our multi-entity operations across local and international procurement activities.
Responsibilities:
Process purchase orders and ensure proper authorization and accuracy.
Coordinate with departments to gather requisitions and confirm budgets.
Liaise with local vendors for quotes, orders, and delivery follow-ups.
Match POs with delivery notes and invoices, and resolve discrepancies.
Manage international shipments via Miami freight forwarder.
Track orders, verify goods, and coordinate customs clearance.
Prepare shipping documents (invoices, packing lists) for customs brokers.
Review freight and duty invoices before payment.
Allocate freight and customs costs across multiple companies and departments.
Maintain shipment logs and ensure proper document filing for audits.
Requirements:
MBO / Associate Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, Accounting, or related field.
Minimum 2 years in purchasing, procurement, or logistics coordination.
Experience with international freight or customs processes is an advantage.
English required; Dutch and/or Papiamento is a plus.
Skills
Knowledge of import/export documents (invoices, packing lists, etc.).
Strong numerical and reconciliation skills.
Good organizational skills and ability to manage multiple orders.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Office.
Able to work independently and under deadlines.
Experience with freight forwarders or customs brokers is a plus.
