To ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in line with Nestlé Accounting Standards (NAS), IFRS, and local regulatory requirements. The role is responsible for managing Period End Close (PEC), statutory reporting, audit coordination, and maintaining strong financial controls to ensure balance sheet integrity and compliance.

A Day in the Life…

  • Lead Period End Close (PEC) activities with first-time accuracy and ensure timely group reporting
  • Prepare and present statutory financial statements in compliance with applicable accounting standards and local regulations
  • Coordinate with external auditors for half-year reviews and annual audits
  • Present financial insights and updates to the Board Audit Committee on a quarterly basis
  • Act as custodian of Nestlé Accounting Standards (NAS) and ensure adherence across accounting practices
  • Maintain balance sheet integrity through reconciliations and timely clearing of open items
  • Collaborate with Nestlé Business Services (NBS) across end-to-end processes (S2P, O2C, R2R) to ensure SLA compliance
  • Oversee CAPEX & Fixed Assets processes, ensuring accuracy, proper capitalization, and compliance with standards

What Will Make You Successful

  • Qualification: ACA / ACCA / bachelor’s in business, Finance or Accounting)
  • Experience: 6–7 years of post-qualification experience, including articleship with a reputable firm (preferably in accounting & reporting).
  • Strong academic background in Finance/Accounting with relevant professional certification
  • Hands-on experience with SAP FICO modules
  • Sound knowledge of IAS, IFRS, Companies Act, and Corporate Governance frameworks
  • Strong understanding of Period End Close (PEC) processes
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel
  • Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills
  • Effective communication skills with strong command of English
