Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounting Officer to join our Accounting & Finance team. This newly created role is reporting to the Senior Financial Accountant, will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial data, supporting core accounting functions, and contributing to the smooth operation of our finance processes.

This role is most suitable for someone with Senior AP/AR or Bookkeeping experience with experience to the reconciliation process.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain daily and monthly bank reconciliations across multiple accounts.
• Investigate and resolve reconciliation discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Create and maintain supplier records within the ERP system.
• Verify supplier banking details and supporting documentation.
• Support stocktake activities relating to fixed assets and machine inventory.
• Assist with internal and external audit requirements.
• Contribute to year-end financial and sustainability reporting activities.
• Provide broader finance and administration support as required.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives across the Finance team.

About You

Essential

Previous experience in an accounting, finance or accounts administration (Like Senior AP / AR or Bookkeeping)

• Experience performing either general ledger or bank reconciliations.
• Experience maintaining master data or supplier records within an ERP system.
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.

Desirable

Certificate III in Business Administration or Finance
