The Opportunity

Join ElectraNet and play a key role in supporting the financial operations that help power South Australia's clean energy future.

As an Accounting Officer, you'll work across accounts receivable, expense management, procurement governance and financial administration, ensuring accurate, efficient and compliant processes.

This is a diverse and hands-on role where you'll build strong relationships across the business, drive process improvements and contribute to delivering high quality financial outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage ElectraNet's credit card and employee expense processes, including card administration, expense reviews, reporting and continuous process improvement.
  • Support accounts receivable activities, including invoice processing, collections, stakeholder reporting and customer query resolution.
  • Provide procurement governance support through vendor onboarding, supplier pre-qualification administration, purchase order creation and compliance monitoring.
  • Contribute to financial governance and operational excellence by maintaining financial controls, supporting process improvements and delivering high quality stakeholder service.

About You

You are an experienced finance professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering accurate, high quality work.

With strong attention to detail and a proactive approach, you enjoy building relationships across the business and providing exceptional customer service to both internal and external stakeholders.

You're comfortable working autonomously, managing competing priorities and identifying opportunities to improve processes and outcomes.

Most importantly, you're a collaborative team player who brings a positive attitude and a commitment to excellence in everything you do.

What you’ll bring:

  • Demonstrated experience in a similar accounting or finance support role, with strong knowledge of accounts receivable, accounts payable and general ledger processes.
  • Proficiency with SAP, SAP Concur (or similar finance systems) and strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly in data analysis and reporting.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities while delivering accurate, high quality outcomes.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with a proactive, customer focused approach and the ability to build effective relationships across the business.
