(This is a fixed-term contract position of 2-year with possibility for renewal subject to organisational needs and individual performance.)

You will be responsible for:
performing daily accounting functions for accounts receivable and payable, including data entry, billing and invoice/ vouchers handling;
assisting in month-end closing activities and preparing supporting schedules;
providing financial support to the finance team in the day to day operations; and
performing any other related general duties from time to time as reasonably assigned by the Authority.
You should:
possess a recognised university degree in finance, accounting or equivalent;
have around 3 years of experience in finance, accounting or auditing, preferably gained in a multinational/large organisation;
be familiar with MS Office, MS Excel and MS Word;
have strong sense of responsibility and be a team player; and
be proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese.

Stretching across 40 hectares of reclaimed land, WestK is one of the largest cultural projects in the world, blending art, education and open space.
Its vision is to create a vibrant cultural quarter for Hong Kong where the local arts scene can interact, develop and collaborate. Providing 23 hectares of public open space with two kilometres of vibrant harbour-front promenade it will also include a variety of arts and cultural facilities that will produce and host world-class exhibitions, performances and arts and cultural events.
A Development Plan for the District, based on well-received Foster + Partner’s Conceptual Plan, was approved by the Chief Executive-in-Council in January 2013. Overlooking the magnificent Victoria Harbour, the District will begin to take shape over the next decade.
By developing this sizable project in phases we can start to bring the district to life. The Xiqu Centre, Freespace, Art Park, M+, Hong Kong Palace Museum and Lyric Theatre Complex, will be developed as a first batch of facilities aiming for opening to the public.
Although the whole project will take time to complete, we are already busy organising a wide range of cultural activities on site. Visit our website for details of upcoming events. The West Kowloon Cultural District Authority is a statutory body responsible for developing the West Kowloon Cultural District. Led by the Board and an executive team comprising experts from different sectors, our vision is to build a vibrant cultural quarter for the city, dedicated to bringing together local and international artists and audiences to be inspired and to celebrate the arts.
