Rocket Travel by Agoda is looking for an Accounting Manager to join our growing accounting team. In this role, you’ll work closely with our team to oversee general accounting duties related to month-end close, AP/AR processing, treasury function, and other ad-hoc requests. Web-savvy, energetic, and analytical individuals with a solid business/accounting background that are willing to be proactive and apply other skills and talents toward the company’s collective goals, are encouraged to apply. This is a Chicago-based contract position slated for a minimum of 9 months (with possible extension).
Perform high-level review of B/S and P/L accounts with the Controller to ensure financial statement completeness and accuracy
Help with our Salesforce Optimization project by implementing best practices and metrics for the teamReview and approve journal entries by team members to ensure that items are accurately recorded and correct in the final financial statement impactOversee timely processing and reconciliation of invoices. This individual will oversee the AP functions and ensure timely processing of payments.

The hourly amount for the Chicago area is $57.21 per hour (40 hours per week).
