Key Responsibilities

Client Advisory & Engagement Management

• Lead client engagements from planning through completion
• Coordinate all phases of accounting and advisory projects
• Serve as the primary relationship manager for assigned clients
• Develop a deep understanding of client operations and goals
• Deliver exceptional client service and strategic guidance

Healthcare Practice Advisory

• Advise medical, dental, and veterinary practices on financial performance
• Assist clients with operational and accounting improvements
• Evaluate internal controls and business processes
• Identify opportunities for efficiency improvements and profitability enhancement
• Provide strategic recommendations to support growth and long-term success

Accounting & Financial Oversight

• Supervise preparation and review of client deliverables
• Monitor engagement budgets and timelines
• Review financial reporting and supporting work product
• Oversee client onboarding activities
• Ensure quality standards and service expectations are achieved

Leadership & Talent Development

• Lead, mentor, and develop accounting staff
• Conduct performance evaluations and career planning discussions
• Assist with recruiting and hiring initiatives
• Support employee engagement and retention efforts
• Develop future leaders within the department

Business Development & Practice Growth

• Strengthen existing client relationships
• Identify opportunities to expand service offerings
• Participate in networking and community involvement activities
• Build relationships with referral sources and centers of influence
• Support client retention and growth initiatives

Qualifications

Required

• CPA, EA, or equivalent professional certification
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field
• 5+ years of public accounting experience
• Strong client relationship management experience
• Experience supervising and developing staff
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Strong project management and organizational abilities
