Accounting Manager (Construction)

Construction projects run on accurate numbers. As our Accounting Manager, you will lead the project and corporate financial operations for a general contracting client, keeping finances clear and under control across active construction projects. Your work will help the team understand where each job stands and how cash is moving through the business.

Role Overview

You will oversee both the project side and the corporate side of the company's finances. That means managing the financial detail behind each active job while also keeping the core accounting function running smoothly. Your construction accounting background will help you understand how projects work financially and what the numbers mean for the business.

What You Will Do

• Lead job costing across active construction projects
• Oversee general ledger functions
• Manage financial reporting for projects and the company as a whole
• Monitor and manage cash flow across the business
• Lead project and corporate financial operations, tying together what is happening on each job with the company's wider financial position

What You Will Bring

• A background in construction accounting, which is important for this role
• Experience with job costing, general ledger management, and financial reporting
• Experience managing cash flow
• The ability to lead financial operations across multiple active projects
