  • Prepare supporting schedules for investors, lenders, and board reporting
  • Monitor cash balances and assist with cash flow forecasting
  • Develop and improve accounting policies, controls, and operating procedures
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis projects
  • Assist with due diligence for financing, acquisitions, and strategic initiatives
  • Manage accounting for multiple legal entities and intercompany transactions
  • Partner with department leaders to improve reporting and operational efficiency
  • Identify opportunities to automate and streamline accounting workflows

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
  • Strong understanding of GAAP
  • Experience managing month-end close
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred

  • CPA designation (or CPA candidate)
  • Experience in real estate, title, lending, or marketplace businesses
  • Experience with NetSuite
  • Experience building accounting processes in a high-growth company
