As our
Accounting Manager
, you’ll be the hands-on financial engine that keeps Klean running. Reporting directly to the CFO at Think Better Group, you’re the “doer”—the person who owns the books, manages banking relationships, builds the annual budget, and ensures every number is right. Your accuracy and initiative directly enable our leadership team to make smart, mission-aligned decisions.

Conduct regular 1:1s, set goals, and manage the semi-annual performance and salary review cycle.

Encourage growth and best practices across all accounting functions.
Policies:
Develop and maintain accounting procedures to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
General Ledger:
Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closings, including journal entries and reconciliations.
Analysis:
Perform routine GL departmental expense reviews and balance sheet reconciliations.
Internal Controls:
Perform bank reconciliations and internal audits; provide IT support for the organization as needed.
Point of Contact:
Serve as the primary day-to-day liaison with banking partners.
Reporting:
Prepare weekly
Borrowing Base Certificates (BBCs)
and monthly bank reporting packages.
Compliance:
Track covenant compliance and ensure timely submission of all required documentation.
Coordination:
Lead the annual budget process, collaborating with department leaders to align on targets.
Modeling:
Maintain the budget model throughout the year and provide variance analysis against actuals.
Reporting:
Present budget updates and financial performance summaries to the CFO and leadership.
Filings:
Coordinate with outside firms for annual tax filings and sales tax vendors for jurisdictional compliance.
Documentation:
Prepare all supporting schedules and documentation required for tax preparation.
Oversight:
Monitor regulatory requirements and escalate issues to the CFO as needed.
Oversight:
Monitor and evaluate all AR and AP functions.
Analysis:
Review AR aging analysis weekly with staff to ensure healthy cash flow.

Knowledge & Skills
Mastery of
Excel
(modeling and complex spreadsheets).
Strong working knowledge of
GAAP
and business financial principles.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Education & Experience
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (CPA designation preferred).
Experience:
3–5 years of high-level accounting management experience (preferred).
Technical:
Experience with
SAGE ERP
(preferred).
Specialized:
Proven experience managing bank relationships and borrowing base certificates.
Tools:
SAGE ERP, Banking Platforms, Microsoft Office Suite, and standard office equipment
