Position Summary
As a Team Member of the Accounting team, Accounting Manager is a CRCR Ambassador and takes personal ownership to ensure their actions are in the best interest of the business. The Accounting Manager is responsible for overseeing all financial activities of Casino Resort operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, regulatory compliance, effective internal controls. Their role involves reviewing account reconciliations, sourcing transaction documents, and providing analytical support to Finance. Position Functions Essential Functions:
•Provide exceptional Guest service while maintaining a positive attitude.
•Support and motivate Team Members while ensuring team responsibilities are performed according to established departmental standards.
•Oversee Accounting and Audit departments, while managing revenue recognition, cash flow, and gaming transaction reconciliations.
•Lead and mentor the Accounting team, offering guidance and support for their professional development.
•Ensure adherence to regulatory standards, including gaming laws, financial reporting criteria, and internal control protocols.
•Generate and evaluate financial statements, budgets, and forecasts, delivering accurate financial data to leadership and regulatory bodies.
•Coordinate with external auditors, regulatory inspections, and tax filings, ensuring seamless compliance processes.
•Design and implement internal controls to protect assets, prevent fraud, and maintain accurate financial records.
•Work with departments like Finance, Operations, and Compliance to refine procedures, boost efficiency, and align with business goals.
•Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory shifts, and best practices in casino accounting to optimize operations and maintain legal compliance.
•Create, input, and review journal entries for both gaming and non-gaming transactions in the general ledger.
•Produce, analyze, and disseminate both scheduled and ad-hoc financial reports related to gaming and non-gaming activities.
•Support month-end financial statement preparation, account reconciliations, and audit documentation within required timelines.
•Conduct comprehensive cash reconciliations, including bank reconciliations.
•Manage all financial tasks linked to the general ledger with accuracy and precision.
•Organize accounting documents to meet audit standards.
•Perform Payroll and Accounts Payable duties as necessary.
•Other duties as assigned.

• Lead coaching, corrective counseling, and performance evaluations for Shift Supervisors, Leads, and Team Members.

• Recruit, train, and motivate Shift Supervisors, Leads, and Team Members, effectively regulating department headcounts and turnover rates.
• Aid in drafting, creating, and updating policies and procedures under the guidance of Leadership.
• Assist in budget creation, meeting revenue targets, managing expenses effectively, and ensuring adherence to annual budgetary limitations.
• Oversee and lead employment terminations.

Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting.
• 5+ years of Finance or Accounting experience.
• 3+ years in a Supervisory or managerial role.
• Proven experience in payroll accounting, account reconciliations, closings, and audits.
• Proficient in Windows and Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred
Qualifications:
• 1+ years in an Accountant role in the gaming industry.
• Knowledge of accounting systems (Sage Intacct).
