ABOUT LUND CONSTRUCTION

Lund Construction Co. is a third-generation family-owned general engineering contractor specializing in grading, underground utilities, and wet utility installation. Serving Northern California since 1958.

THE ROLE

Seeking a skilled, hands-on Accounting Lead for a blended financial accounting and project accounting role. Working directly alongside an experienced Construction Controller who is an active CPA and CCIFP. 100% individual contributor. Pay range: $90,000–$130,000.

KEY FOCUS AREAS

• Blended GL accounting + project accounting. Prior project accounting experience strongly preferred.
• 100% Individual Contributor: Hands-on, self-sufficient.
• Direct mentorship under active CPA/CCIFP Controller.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

• Full-Cycle AR: Monthly billings, cash applications
• Lien Releases & Joint Checks: Conditional and unconditional waivers
• Partner with Project Managers on billing and job cost reports
• GL Management: Accuracy, multi-account reconciliations
• Month-End Close: Journal entries, reconciliations
• Financial Reporting & Payroll Review
• Controller Operational Backup
• ERP Projections (Viewpoint Vista preferred)
• Audit Preparation

QUALIFICATIONS

• 5+ years accounting required; 7+ for Lead tier
• Project accounting + AR experience strongly preferred
• Construction ERP required; Viewpoint Vista preferred
• Strong Excel skills
• Construction or real estate background a strong plus
• Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance preferred
