Accounting Intern (Part-Time)

10 Hours per Week | Monday–Friday | 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM

BRC is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Accounting Intern to support our Finance team while gaining hands-on experience in nonprofit accounting operations. This is an excellent opportunity for a current accounting, finance, or business student looking to build practical experience alongside experienced accounting professionals.

This ongoing internship offers exposure to day-to-day accounting functions and provides a strong foundation for future careers in accounting, auditing, finance, or nonprofit administration.

What You'll Do

  • Prepare and process daily bank deposits
  • Deliver checks and financial documents to the post office and other designated locations
  • Assist with filing, scanning, and organizing financial records
  • Support data entry and routine accounting tasks
  • Assist with administrative and clerical projects within the Finance department
  • Help maintain accurate financial documentation and records
  • Provide general support to the accounting team as assigned

Schedule

  • Part-time internship
  • 10 hours per week
  • Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM

Who We're Looking For

  • Current undergraduate or graduate student pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Reliable, professional, and able to maintain confidentiality
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage routine responsibilities
