This position will allow the team member to gain insight to the workings of factory planning and engineering processes. This internship will expose the team member to all levels in the organization to assist in building a resume that will allow the team member to become competitive in the job market. Responsibilities:Mercedes-Benz Vans is looking for a Finance/Accounting intern. The applicant filling this position will handle a wide range of important duties.Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Internal controls implementation and verification
• Support Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable
• Assist in preparation of presentations
• Support the payment processing team
• Documentation of training materials
• Complete special projects as needed
• Other duties may be assigned

Qualifications: Applicants should be Business, Finance, Economics or Accounting majors in pursuit of their Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree or having graduated within the past 12 months. Skills:Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, attention to detail, and the ability to multi-task and excellent communication skills are all essential to this position. Opportunities:Learn or improve the German language; cultural exchange with German interns. Applicants should be eager, driven, focused, hard-working individuals that are ready to assist a growing company with handling a complex multi-million dollar project. The individual should be self-motivated and interested in adding value and making a difference within an organization. Additional details:

Mercedes-Benz Vans, LLC (“MBV Charleston”) is a Ladson, South Carolina–based production entity that manufactures Sprinter vans for the U.S. and Canadian markets.

The Sprinter plant officially opened in 2018 and serves as a key part of the Mercedes-Benz Vans global production network. MBV Charleston was selected as the first plant in this network to produce the all-new eSprinter, beginning in 2024. The company also continues to invest in the local community through donations to non-profits and schools, as well as active support of STEM education initiatives and volunteer programs.

Since 2006, Sprinter, eSprinter, and Metris vans have been assembled in North Charleston and delivered to destinations across the United States. In 2025, the plant celebrated the assembly of the 5,000,000th Sprinter in the Mercedes-Benz global production network. The U.S. remains the second largest market for Sprinter vans after Germany.
