Job Location: Westfalia Technologies - York, PA 17406Westfalia is looking to host an Accounting Intern to join our team for our Summer 2026 Internship Program! The Accounting Intern will support the accounting team with day-to-day financial operations, including data entry, reconciliations, and reporting. This role provides hands-on experience in core accounting functions and exposure to financial processes within a professional and manufacturing environment.
Location Requirements:
Must live within a 50-mile radius of Westfalia Technologies Inc Headquarters and within PA or MD.
Job Functions:
- Assist with accounts payable processing, including invoice review and data entry.
- Prepare and enter journal entries into accounting systems.
- Support month-end and year-end close processes.
- Conduct research on financial data and assist in generating reports.
- Assist with audits and compliance-related activities.
- Perform administrative and clerical tasks to support the finance team.

QualificationsRequired Skills and Abilities:
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Education/

Experience:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Ability to use a keyboard, mouse, and office equipment
- Visual acuity to read financial documents, spreadsheets, and computer screens
- Ability to lift and carry up to 10-15 pounds
Travel Requirements:
• Minimal travel may be required outside of the daily commute (approximately 0- 5%) for meetings, training, or company events.
Work Authorization: Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.
