This internship offers hands-on exposure to financial reporting, accounting operations, forecasting, budgeting, and performance analysis in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. The intern will work closely with the Corporate Controller, Director of Corporate FP&A, and broader finance team to support day-to-day financial activities while developing a strong foundation in corporate finance and accounting.
Responsibilities
• Assist with monthly and quarterly close activities, including preparing schedules, reconciliations, and supporting documentation.
• Support general ledger accuracy by assisting with journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance review under supervision.
• Help process and track accounts payable and accounts receivable, including invoice validation, payment status tracking, and aging reports.
• Assist with maintaining organized financial records and documentation in accordance with company policies and GAAP guidelines.
• Support internal control documentation and testing efforts.
• Assist in preparing financial models and templates used for budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning.
• Support quarterly forecast and annual budget cycles by gathering data, validating inputs, and compiling supporting analyses.
• Help track actual performance versus budget and forecast, including basic variance analysis.
• Assist with cash flow tracking and analysis under guidance from FP&A leadership.
• Support the preparation of recurring management and executive reporting packages.
• Help compile, organize, and validate financial and operational data from multiple sources.
• Assist with maintaining KPI dashboards and performance metrics used by Accounting and FP&A teams.
• Gain exposure to ERP systems, financial planning tools, and reporting platforms used to scale operations.
• Support testing, documentation, or validation of process improvements, system enhancements, or automation initiatives.
