Qualifications: For appointment at the Instructor level, a master’s degree, CPA licensure, and substantial experience in accounting is required. For appointment at the Assistant Professor level a doctorate in accounting or an earned doctorate in a related field is required. ABDs in Accounting or in related fields considered. College teaching experience is preferred. Candidates should be professionally active and engaged in college / university service or business/managerial experience is a plus. Areas of teaching include Financial, Managerial, Cost, Taxation, and Advanced Accounting. The teaching load is four classes/courses per semester, and the position requires attending other duties in the areas of student academic advising and service.
A candidate who does not meet the above standards may also be appointed provided the candidate has credentials and/or experience substantially comparable to the above experience.

Salary & Benefits: The hiring salary range for Instructor is $71,317 - $76,192 and the hiring salary range for Assistant Professor is $80,713 - $86,231 and is commensurate upon candidates' experience.
