
Role Overview
We are
seeking
a detail-oriented and highly organized
Accounting & HR
Specialist to manage end-to-end government compliance, statutory obligations, and tax reporting requirements
in accordance with
Philippine regulations. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the company
remains
fully compliant with all local labor, tax, and government-mandated benefit requirements while supporting both HR and Finance functions.
Key
Responsibilities
Statutory Compliance & Reporting
Process and manage the company’s compliance with Philippine labor and tax laws.
Ensure timely submission, payment, and reconciliation of statutory reports and remittances.
Maintain
accurate
and confidential employee records related to compensation, deductions, and government contributions.
Coordinate directly with government agencies (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, and BIR) for compliance updates, audits, and inquiries.
Assist
in year-end payroll reports and statutory compliance reconciliation.
Government-Mandated Benefits Administration
Handle the end-to-end administration and processing of government-mandated benefits, including:
SSS:
Processing R1A forms, sickness and maternity benefit filings, loan applications, loan restructuring, and monthly amortizations.
PhilHealth:
Managing member applications, updates, and disengagements.
Pag-IBIG Fund:
Facilitating
multipurpose loan applications, housing loan requirements, and monthly amortizations.
Tax Preparation & Filing
Prepare, compute, and file BIR-related tax documents, ensuring accuracy and timeliness, including:
Withholding tax on compensation (Expanded/Compensation taxes).
BIR Form 1601-C (Monthly Remittance Return of Income Taxes Withheld on Compensation).
BIR Form 1604-C (Annual Information Return of Income Taxes Withheld on Compensation) and other required filings.
Cross-Functional
Support
& Collaboration
Support the
HR and Finance teams with
day-to-day
payroll-related concerns and reporting.
Coordinate with the Australian head accountant
regarding
payroll data, cross-border reporting, and ledger adjustments.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy
, Financial Management, or related field.
Experience:
Minimum 1–2 years of hands-on experience in payroll processing within a BPO or corporate setting, along with a strong grasp of statutory compliance and BIR regulations.
Technical
Skills:

Proficiency
in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, and data management).
Familiarity with accounting systems and payroll software.
Mobility Requirement:
Must own or have reliable access to a personal motorcycle or vehicle to
facilitate
document processing and agency visits.
Valid Philippine driver's license.
Work Setup:
Hybrid schedule (combination of remote and on-site duties).
Location:
Must be based in or near Clark/
Pampanga, or
be willing to relocate nearby.
Work Schedule:
Monday to Friday, standard daytime shift with flexibility to address urgent compliance matters if necessary.
