The Omni Providence is a landmark hotel in Rhode Island. This hotel is located in the exciting city of Providence and is attached to the Rhode Island Convention Center, Amica Mutual Pavilion, as well as the Providence Place Mall. Guests find themselves in walking distance to everything the city has to offer from historical sights to amazing restaurants. The Omni Providence a beautiful Convention Hotel but our associates are what separate us from the rest of the hotels.

Omni Hotels in Providence is seeking a dynamic Accounting Generalist with a positive attitude, professional communication skills, possess strong accounting and analytical skills.

Responsibilities:
• Assist with Accounts Receivable (AR) billing and collection of Catering groups
• Assist the Director of Finance (DOF) with daily Ledger reviews and corrections for groups
• Maintain BirchStreet compliance
• Maintain Accounts Receivable (AR) Catering billing
• Assist the Assistant Director of Finance (ADOF) with Treasury workbook credit card reconciliations
• Be flexible and collaborate with the accounting team to cover vacation schedules as needed
• Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as needed

Qualifications:
• Data entry, document management, file creation, and previous records experience required
• Proven knowledge of accounting systems
• Deep understanding and working knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Office, and Excel.
• Ability to effectively organize workspace and time
• Professionally communicate with individuals of all backgrounds and experiences.
• Previous accounting experience in a hotel or multi-department environment is highly preferred
