Job Title: Accounting & Finance Associate
Location: Hong Kong

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounting & Finance Associate to join our global management team in Hong Kong. This role offers the opportunity to support strategic decision-making through hands-on accounting operations and client administration services. Key Responsibilities

Accounting Operations

• Assist in the preparation of management reports for group entities.
• Maintain and update the general ledger, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Support the preparation of financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements).
• Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
• Handle invoice issuance and expense logging.
• Manage queries and documentation to ensure timely monthly account delivery.
• Ensure data integrity between accounting and other departments (e.g., operations) across legacy and current systems.
• Participate in ad-hoc accounting/financial projects as needed.

Client Administration Services

• Review management accounts (general ledger, financial reporting, bank reconciliations).
• Collaborate on audit and tax processes for client entities.
• Analyze monthly and annual variances, perform reconciliations, and resolve discrepancies.
• Liaise with company secretaries to maintain client entity records.
• Coordinate with external service providers to ensure quality and timely deliverables.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional accounting qualification (e.g., CA, CPA) preferred; familiarity with FRR is a plus.
• 3-5 years of experience as a Financial Analyst, Financial Accountant, Controller, or similar role.
• Experience in the Banking/Financial Services industry in Hong Kong is advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of financial regulations, accounting principles, and reporting standards (IFRS/HKFRS).
• High professional integrity, analytical mindset, self-motivation, and attention to detail.
• Fluent in English is a MUST
• Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel) and financial reporting software.
• Experience with system migration, data handling, and programming languages (e.g., VBA, Python) is a plus.
