Job Description

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Accounting & Finance Associate to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing day-to-day financial data entry, managing petty cash, handling accounts receivable and payable, and assisting with various accounting and finance tasks to ensure the accurate and timely processing of financial transactions. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining accurate financial records.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform day-to-day data entry of financial transactions into accounting systems.
• Handle petty cash management, including disbursements, documentation, and reconciliation.
• Manage accounts receivable and payable processes, ensuring timely invoicing and payments.
• Perform accounts receivable and payable reconciliation, addressing any discrepancies promptly.
• Conduct bank reconciliation on a regular basis to ensure accuracy between internal records and bank statements.
• Maintain accurate and organized records of all financial transactions and supporting documents.
• Assist in monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing activities, including preparing necessary reports and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and relevant financial regulations.
• Carry out other accounting and finance tasks as assigned by senior management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience in a similar accounting or finance role.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and MS Excel.
• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and financial processes.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
