Our client is seeking a motivated and hardworking Accounting Executive to join their growing finance team. This opportunity is ideal for someone who is eager to build a career in accounting, even if they are still at the early stages of their journey — whether they have some accounting experience, have studied Accounting at A-Level, or are looking for their first serious opportunity within finance.

The selected candidate will assist with day-to-day accounting operations, reconciliations, financial administration, and reporting tasks, while gaining exposure to a broad range of finance functions and business operations.
Assist with daily accounting entries, reconciliations, and bookkeeping tasks.
Support the preparation of management accounts and financial reports.
Process supplier invoices, payments, and expense claims accurately and on time.
Assist with bank reconciliations and monitoring cash transactions.
Maintain accurate financial records and ensure documentation is properly organised.
Support the preparation of VAT returns and other financial filings.
Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
Prepare supporting schedules and documentation for audits and internal reviews.
Help maintain accounting systems and ensure data is kept up to date.
Liaise with suppliers, banks, and internal departments where necessary.
Support the finance team with administrative and ad hoc accounting duties.
Assist in identifying opportunities to improve processes and efficiencies within the finance function.
Previous experience in an accounting or finance-related role would be considered an asset, though not essential.
Candidates with an Accounting A-Level or those currently studying ACCA or another accounting qualification are encouraged to apply.
Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and accounting software would be considered beneficial.
