Job Description:

Eligibility: These internship opportunities are open exclusively to current third-year degree students who are required to complete an internship or work placement as a mandatory part of their degree programme/coursework. Applicants must be returning to their studies following the internship and be able to provide confirmation from their educational institution that the placement forms part of their course requirements.

Our team’s main function is to ensure all Financial Transactions are accurately accounted for and that effective controls are in place to prevent, detect, and solve any issues that could negatively impact the company and our shareholders. Right now, we are looking for people who are passionate about fund investments and banking. Overview of what we do:

Accounting Control's main function is to ensure that all Financial Transactions are accurately accounted for and that effective controls are in place to prevent, detect, and solve any issues that could negatively impact the company and our shareholders. We oversee the pricing process to ensure that the Administration Systems for our business units receive the correct unit value prices to run their cycles and properly process the value our shareholders accounts. We also maintain fund settlements and ensure our shareholder trade requests are actioned within a Service Level Agreement. We are also regulatory and compliance focused, we perform Internal and external audit requests to ensure our controls are effective which aspire confidence for our business leaders and shareholders.

Responsibilities/tasks:

As an Accounting Control Associate Intern you will be tasked with participating in the below high-level tasks:

• Perform daily Fund Settlements in accordance with our Service Level Agreement
• Participate in Fund Projects that engage with our Information Technology team and other relevant stakeholders
• Research and resolve complex general ledger queries
• Independently prepare reports and analyze relevant data
• Collaborate with your peers to ensure we give the best possible experience to our clients.
• Manage Bank Account reconciliations effectively.

**Interns in this position will work fully on-site at our Waterford office for the duration of their internship. **
