  Process bank statements, supplier and customer bills, fixed assets, and any other accounting responsibilities. Review of this work of trainees

  Compilation of Management Reports from monthly accounting records.

  Compilation of Annual Financial Statements for clients
• 
  Preparation of working papers for independent review engagements under limited supervision
• 
  Annual accounting is performed and reviewed monthly, to ensure that the balance sheet and income statement are accurate and ready for the compilation of the financial statements.
• 
  Assistance with payroll tasks, including but not limited to, payroll processing, payroll reconciliations, EMP201, EMP501 and COIDA / WCA submissions and review of work done by trainees.
• 
  Engaging with clients to build relationships, and assisting and scoping client needs. Assistance on this to juniors.
• 
  Client budget preparation.

  Providing on the job training for Accounting Consultants, Junior Accounting and Trainees

  Presenting training to the cloud accounting team

  Updating CRM with client details
• 
  Client scoping according to scoping document
• 
  Preparing client proposals under supervision
• 
  Assisting with clients onboarding and offboarding

• 
  Preparation of agenda for monthly planning meetings with the POD Leader
• 
  Timeous submission of Timesheets before COB on Fridays
• 
  Ensure that all projects assigned to your portfolio are rolled out monthly, and that all tasks are signed off on a daily basis.
• 
  Review of budgeted vs actual hours spent on clients

Requirements

• 
  The ideal candidate for this position will hold an AGA(SA), SAIPA or CIMA qualification
• 
  Minimum 2 years post articles experience within an accounting firm environment
• 
  Proven experience embedding AI tools into your daily workflow to solve problems and drive results.
  Able to demonstrate measurable impact—such as time saved, errors reduced, or client value added—rather than just theoretical knowledge.
