Job Description

Are you organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about compliance and sustainability? We are looking for a Compliance Analyst to join our Finance team. In this role, you will support the company's insurance administration, sustainability initiatives, and compliance processes while helping ensure our operations meet internal and external standards.

Responsibilities:

Insurance Administration

• Maintain and monitor the company's insurance portfolio, including tour liability, fleet, vessel, property, and personnel policies.

• Track policy renewal dates and coordinate timely renewals with insurers and the CFO.

• Maintain an up-to-date insurance register with policy details, coverage, expiry dates, and claims history.

• Assist with preparing and submitting insurance claims and follow up on outstanding claims.

• Liaise with insurance brokers and providers regarding policy updates, endorsements, and certificate requests.

Sustainability & EarthCheck

• Coordinate the annual EarthCheck certification process by collecting data, preparing documentation, and submitting required evidence.

• Monitor EarthCheck benchmarks and sustainability KPIs across multiple departments.

• Maintain the EarthCheck compliance calendar and follow up on required submissions.

• Support continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen the company's sustainability efforts.

Accounting & Compliance Support

• Maintain and organize accounting and compliance documentation, including invoices, contracts, insurance policies, and certificates.

• Support the month-end closing process with insurance allocations and compliance-related information.

• Assist in preparing documentation for internal and external audits.

• Prepare reports and summaries as requested by the Assistant Financial Controller

Requirements:

• MBO or Associate Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Environmental Management, or a related field.

• Entry-level candidates welcome; administrative, compliance, or accounting experience is an advantage.

• English required; Dutch and/or Papiamento is a plus.

Skills & Competencies

• Organized with strong attention to detail.

• Able to manage multiple priorities and work independently.

• Basic accounting knowledge.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

• Knowledge of EarthCheck or ISO 14001 is an advantage (training provided).
