Based in Los Angeles, BD&J is the leading personal injury law firm seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our Accounting Department This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for someone who is highly organized, dependable, and looking to grow within a professional office environment.

The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting our accounting team by maintaining accurate and organized financial records, both digital and physical. If you're someone who takes pride in keeping things orderly and enjoys working behind the scenes to keep operations running smoothly, we’d love to meet you.

Responsibilities include:

• Organize, scan, file, and maintain accounting and financial documents
• Ensure all invoices, payment records, and reports are accurately filed and labeled
• Assist with document retrieval and records requests from accounting team members
• Help with data entry and updating internal accounting systems
• Support periodic audits and month-end close processes by preparing documentation
• Maintain confidentiality and follow proper protocols for handling sensitive financial information
• Perform general office support tasks as needed within the department

Qualifications:

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to manage a high volume of files and maintain accuracy
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with scanning software
• Dependable, punctual, and able to follow instructions
• Prior experience in an office environment preferred
• Interest in accounting or finance is a plus
