Job Category: AccountingAtlantic Medical Imaging is seeking an Accounting Clerk in the Corporate Office location to assist the team with Accounts Payable processes. This is a great opportunity to join a growing outpatient Radiology practice.

The responsibilities of the Accounting Clerk include, but are not limited to:
- Sorts incoming mail/invoices in preparation for coding and submits to Accounts Payable Manager for review;
- Matches contracted prices and Purchase Orders (PO) to invoices;
- Scans and inputs invoice into accounting system;
- Supports and backs up Accounts Payable Manager with weekly check processing;
- Reconciles Daily Cash (Co-Pay) Deposits;
- Makes weekly bank deposits as needed;
- Records activity for AMI related companies; and
- Performs other duties as assigned.
This full time, 40 hour per week position is based in AMI's Corporate Office location and is a fully on-site position. The work schedule includes Monday-Friday. Schedule options include 7:30am-4pm, 8am-4:30pm, or 8:30am-5pm. Schedules are subject to change based on department needs.
QualificationsCandidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent. Two (2) years of Accounts Payable or similar accounting work is required, with a demonstrated ability in bank reconciliation. Familiarity with accounting software is strongly preferred; experience with Sage Intacct is a plus. College coursework in Accounting is a plus! Candidates must have strong computer skills, and have past work experience in the Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel.
To be successful in this role, candidates must be comfortable working independently as well as part of a team, a self-starter with strong attention to detail. Candidates must be highly organized, with excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. Communication, over the phone, in person, and written, is required with the responsibilities of the role.
