The Co-op Ethanol Complex (CEC) is hiring an Accounting Clerk on a permanent, full time basis. This position requires on-site work and is located near Belle Plaine, SK

What you’ll do:
Manage the full accounts payable cycle, including monitoring the AP inbox, maintaining purchase orders, matching invoices, coding, obtaining approvals, and entering transactions into the accounting system.
Coordinate payment processing by preparing payment selections, securing authorization, producing and filing payment packages, and issuing and mailing cheques for both grain and accounts payable runs.
Administer accounts receivable tasks, including creating debit and credit notes, applying payments, sending statements, monitoring balances, and following up with customers on outstanding accounts.
Oversee ethanol invoicing activities, including building pricing files, reconciling litres, entering invoices into the system, tracking railcars, and resolving customer inquiries.
Support payroll processing for Co-op Ethanol Complex employees while ensuring all accounting transactions are completed accurately, efficiently, and in alignment with business and client needs.

The Team: You will be part of a small, collaborative team, reporting into the Supervisor, Accounting & Administration. This team takes pride in delivering accurate, high-quality results while supporting one another and working together to meet shared goals.

We help grow Western Canadian communities through our commitment to purchase local grain and starch inputs to produce ethanol and dried distillers grain (DDG). We use the ethanol to support a lower carbon economy in Western Canada.
Who you are:
You are looking for a career in Finance and
You have a Diploma in Business Administration, with a preference for Finance or Accounting.
You have a minimum of Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in accounting or finance. Background in the Agriculture industry would be an asset.
Have experience with Office 365.
