Position Summary:
This is a full-time on-site role for an Accounts Clerk located in Downtown Las Vegas. The Accounting Clerk will be responsible for keeping up with day-to-day sales, keeping financial records updates, preparing report and reconciling bank statements.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Reconcile accounts in a timely manner.
- Assist with payroll processing, including weekly tip reconciliation and payroll entries.
- Manage accounts payable, including processing invoices, verifying accuracy and ensuring compliance and prepare payments.
- Process accounts receivable by generating invoices, following up on outstanding payments, and reconciling payments.
- Participate in month end close activities, including preparation of journal entries, reconciliation of accounts, and sales tax computations.
- Accurately prepare and maintain accounting documents and records.
- Assist with other accounting projects as needed.
Ideal Candidate:
- Strong analytical skills and an entrepreneurial mindset as this provides a challenging, fast-paced environment that encourages people to think on their feet to problem solve quickly.
- Experience reconciling bank statements.
- Experience checking AP vendor statements.
- Experience entering journal entries.
- Proficient skills, particularly in excel and accounting software such as Netsuite, Restaurant365, Craftable, and Shift4
- Attention to detail, strong organizational abilities, and a problem-solving attitude.
This role is Monday through Friday from 9am-5pm.
