Title: Accounting Associate

Duration: 6 Months

Location: New York, NY – (Hybrid 50%)

Job Description

• 
  Perform daily/monthly
  monitoring and reconciliations and month-end book closing and prepare
  various financial statements and reports including quarterly reports to
  Head Office.
• 
  Respond to requests and
  inquiries from other departments/units, Head Office and auditors and
  establish necessary operations to comply with the requirements.
• 
  Perform research on
  accounting standards and accounting treatment of existing/new products and
  transactions.
• 
  Provide support to other
  members of the Unit, especially covering team member's tasks during their
  PTO.

Requirements

Requirements

• 
  At least 3 years of
  experience in financial accounting or equivalent preferred, but not
  required.
• 
  Basic to intermediate
  knowledge of financial accounting and reporting
• 
  Bachelor’s degree in
  accounting, finance or equivalent preferred, but not required.
