Job Purpose

As the new member of EY Hungary’s continuously growing Accounting Compliance and Reporting Team within the Tax Service Line, your main task will be supporting the senior colleagues in full bookkeeping and tax returns, preparing statutory financial statements for various companies in the different industry sectors EY is active in.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting activities for a diverse client portfolio
• Assist with tax returns, statutory financial statements, and reporting requirements
• Participate in month-end and year-end closing processes
• Support IFRS and/or US GAAP conversion and group reporting projects
• Collaborate with clients, auditors, and EY colleagues to deliver high-quality service
• Build strong client relationships while leveraging technology to enhance service delivery

Requirements

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
• 1+ years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or financial reporting
• Business-level Hungarian and English
• Good Excel and MS Office skills
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and client-focused mindset
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
