We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accounting Assistant to join our Finance Department at our offices located in Elefsina.

As an Accounting Assistant you will be responsible for supporting daily accounting operations and ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update accounting records, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Process invoices, payments, and receipts in a timely and accurate manner.
• Perform bank and account reconciliations.
• Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Support monthly closing procedures and financial reporting.
• Handle internal and external communications related to billing and payments.
• Maintain organized filing systems and accounting databases.
• Provide administrative support to the Finance Team as required.

Requirements

• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles (accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, financial reporting).
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with Google Workspace.
• Experience with accounting software/ERP systems will be considered an asset.
• Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Professional communication skills.

To qualify for the role, you must have

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• 1-3 years of experience in an accounting or finance-related roles.
