Industry: Finance

Location: Malta

Basis: Full time

Remuneration: Salary + Benefits

Main duties:

• Preparation & Review of accounting documentation (such as invoices) posted to the nominal ledgers, of reconciliations of bank and other ledger balances
• Preparation & Review of calculations, prepayments, accruals, and management accounts
• Preparation & Review of FATCA/CRS reporting
• Filing of accounting documentation and assisting with Auditor's queries
• Preparation & Review of financial returns and CBM returns
• Preparation & Review of the annual financial statements
• Review of Vat returns, tax returns, and tax refund claim forms
• Assist to manage / manage the client accounting and tax services team

What skills do you need?

• Applicants must hold a degree in Accountancy or be ACCA qualified (part-qualified too)
• Experience in an accounting role
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in client accounting within a supervisory role
• Able to work accurately to tight deadlines and sharp eye for detail
• Takes initiative and can work both independently and as part of a team
• Excellent administrative and business support skills, able to multi-task and work calmly under pressure
• Proficient verbal and written communication in English

Eligibility to work in the EU is a must
