Location: Subic Bay Freeport Zone,Central Luzon,Philippines

Planate Management Group (PMG) is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) headquartered in Alexandria, Virginia, and Orlando, Florida USA with a technical support center in South East Asia and East Africa, that provides program management and facilities engineering services worldwide. Planate is a small business provider of planning, design, infrastructure management, technical consulting, engineering, and construction management services in support of the US Department of Defense (DOD) and its Service (Army, Air Force, Navy, Marine Corps) missions, along with other US federal agencies, all over the world.

We are seeking detail-oriented and analytical professionals to join our growing Accounting & Finance team. Whether you are early in your career or bring years of experience, we welcome candidates with diverse backgrounds in accounting and finance. This role offers opportunities to contribute to core financial operations, payroll management, and strategic planning, while growing within a dynamic organization.

Key responsibilities:

  • Prepare, analyze, and interpret monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
  • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
  • Perform variance analysis, trend analysis, and financial performance reporting
  • Prepare journal entries, accruals, and adjustments as needed
  • Monitor and manage accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
  • Administer payroll activities, including processing, reporting, and compliance with tax and labor regulations
  • Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and company policies
  • Support budgeting and forecasting processes
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to management
  • Coordinate with internal and external auditors during audit periods

Qualifications to be successful in the role:

We are open to candidates at different career stages. Successful applicants will demonstrate:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (advanced degrees or certifications such as CPA/CFA are a plus)
  • Experience ranging from entry-level to senior (1–8+ years in accounting or finance roles)
  • Strong understanding of financial statements, accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS), and general accounting processes
  • Familiarity with payroll systems and regulations is highly valued
  • Proficiency in MS Excel (pivot tables, formulas) and accounting systems (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, Oracle)
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
