Job Description

Quadel is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounting Administrator to join our team in a hybrid work environment This role is ideal for a professional who thrives in a collaborative setting and has a strong aptitude for accounting, financial recordkeeping, and administrative support. The Accounting Administrator will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting daily accounting operations, and ensuring efficient processes across the organization. This role is responsible for administering accounting operations, including revenue recognition, invoicing, accounts receivable, and reconciliations. The position works closely with project managers and leadership to ensure accurate financial processes while supporting treasury functions, audits, and special projects. Additionally, it maintains accounting policies and delivers consistent administrative and operational support across the finance function.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Administers and adheres to established accounting policies, procedures, and processes
  • Provides high-quality customer service to both internal and external stakeholders
  • Coordinates with project managers to prepare and issue contract invoices
  • Reviews, processes, and records cash receipts
  • Supports and monitors Accounts Receivable collection activities in collaboration with project managers
  • Ensures accurate revenue recognition in compliance with U.S. GAAP
  • Maintains reconciliations for revenue-related accounts
  • Prepares and records journal entries, as appropriate
  • Assists with monthly bank reconciliations
  • Prepares and distributes regular financial reports to management and project teams
  • Assists the Controller and executive leadership with accounting needs, special projects, and due diligence activities
  • Performs additional administrative and accounting duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Minimum of two (2) years of relevant accounting and/or billing experience
  • Understanding of accounting processes and US GAAP
  • Familiarity with ADP and MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
  • Undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field, preferred but not required
