We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting and Administrative Specialist to support the company's financial and administrative operations. This role is responsible for performing accounting functions, processing invoices and payments, creating purchase orders, maintaining accurate financial records, and providing general office administrative support. The ideal candidate is proactive, reliable, and capable of managing multiple responsibilities while maintaining a high level of accuracy and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support month/quarter-end closing activities and financial reporting.
• Monitor expenses and ensure proper documentation is maintained.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and electronic filing systems.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist external accountants or auditors by providing required documentation.
• Ensure compliance with company financial policies and procedures.
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
• Process supplier invoices and ensure timely payment of approved invoices.
• Create and manage purchase orders in accordance with company procedures.
• Provide general office administration support.
• Maintain organized records and documentation.
• Manage office supplies and coordinate purchasing activities.
• Assist with travel arrangements and logistics when required.
• Support various administrative projects and operational initiatives

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in accounting, administration, bookkeeping, or similar role.
• Experience with Luxembourg accounting principles Lux GAAP, VAT & tax rules, and local accounting regulations.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
• Experience with ERP, accounting, or financial management systems.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• High level of integrity and confidentiality.
• Fluent in English and French language.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous work/professional experience in Luxembourg.
• Working experience with accounting software (QuickBooks, Odoo, BOB50)
• Professional certification CPA.
• Fluent in German and Luxembourg are advantage.
